Madison Russell’s future in the Monsterverse remains uncertain, but not impossible. Since her storyline has always been closely tied to Godzilla, there’s still a chance she could return in a future film that focuses more heavily on the King of the Monsters.
Her absence in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire wasn’t addressed on-screen. The shift in narrative gave more attention to other human characters—especially Jia, who played a central role in the film—leaving Madison’s arc unexplored.
Director Adam Wingard has kept the door open, saying, “Never say never… there could be a place for her in the future.” This comment aligns with the fact that nothing in the story definitively rules out her return.
However, the possibility remains slim. There are currently no signs that Millie Bobby Brown will appear in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova. Whether she comes back will depend on the storyline’s needs and the creative direction of the new director, Grant Sputore.
For now, fans can keep hoping—but Madison’s return is far from guaranteed.
